China Through My Lens
A personal visual diary of everyday life, people, streets, and culture across China. These photographs are not a guide to a place; they are fragments of time, noticed while moving through it.

About
BEIJING / CHINA
Tayfun Bayram
Photographer, tango dancer, and long-time Beijing resident.
For more than two decades, tango has shaped how I see bodies, distance, rhythm, and silence. Street photography gives me another way to explore the same questions—how people move through a city, how light changes a familiar place, and how small gestures tell larger stories.
My work moves between intimate tango photography and observations of daily life in China, often in black and white.
